Hi, I know that I am new to this forum, but I was hoping that you could help me with a problem?

Basically, I lost my battery cover a while ago, and ive been looking around in shops for one, and ive had the offer from SE to send my phone to the repair centre to have the cover replaced, but i would rather not do this, as i wouldn't like to be without a mobile phone for that long. So my request is, if anyone has a spare battery cover, or full housing set that I could have I would be very grateful. I will be willing to Pay for the cover, with the price being negotiable, and the P&P.

Thank you In advance,
Ryan Bebbington

Hi,

Yes I have, they do sell the replacement cover, and i ordered it on the 24th of last month, and im still waiting for it to come into stock, I've sent them an email asking when it will come into stock, and have not had a reply yet. That is why im now asking around in forums to try to find one.

It sure is going to be difficult get one on any forums due to the fact that its not a very old handset, if you know any authorised repair centers you can ask them for one, because some repair centers do their own insurance claims so you might be lucky getting one

Unfortunatly i've already visted the local authorised repair centre, and they gave me this story about needing to call a technician to assess the phone, which would cost at least £30 for the technicians time + £however much the case costs

i wouldnt bother with mobilefun, they advertise as 'in stock' then you recieve an email telling you its 'out of stock' then you wait over a week and its still out of stock. happened to me twice. had trouble with a headset about a year ago as well. dont recomend them. as for cnn.cn i also wouldnt bother unless you want poor quality replacements.

i got a w800i case from them, the quality was so poor the keypad didnt fit into the front case!!

Hmm, thats unfortunate, I'm quite tempted to get the k750i on contract from the local phone shop, and then simply take the battery cover out, and give it back on the 7 day no questions asked policy

If you could get hold of the battery casing on its own that would be amazing, thank you
