You can download via cable, irda, or bt from the pc.
Or you can download via wap.

fyi, .jar files are indeed zip files and you should not unzip them but merely rename the file type from .zip to .jar if they arrive as .zip (which sometimes they do)

download the game to your pc and if it is a .zip file with .class files in it u simply rename it from .zip to .jar. sometimes inside the .zip files there are . jar files so then u unzip it. so when you have a jar file u simply transfer it to your fone via usb irda or bt and u are ready to play

It has to be kept as a .jar file. As Masseur said, if it arrives as a .zip file, you must rename it to .jar

You should then be able to transfer the .jar via cable to at least one folder on the phone. Try 'em all! If you still have no luck, you might need to download and install a third-party phone browser app such as Floats Mobile Agent, these are generally much better than the included SE software.

Once it's on your phone, you usually just have to navigate to wherever you put the file and select it, in the same way you would select a picture to view it, for example. The phone should then automatically install the game for you.

That's the theory! In practice, people have been having no end of problems trying to install java games this way for a very long time. Often, downloading via wap directly to the phone is the most reliable way.
