I'm not sure if that was the case with the previous firmwares since I haven't noticed that before (They haven't released any firmware update for the w800). Just a thought, only if you haven't done it yet: Did you tick off the default 2-sec track intervals when converting from your mix CDs to the mp3 or aac files you use on your mobile player (w800)?
