Hey my plug at the bottom of the phone won't stay in. The same thing happened with my k700i. Should i just cut the s710a one off or go and get it replaced? what's the point if the replacement will be the same?? |

It clips in, just pull it out, don't cut it out. |

After 5 months of use, mine did not stay and I pulled it out.
No more covering and uncovering to charge my unit 
iphone rocks... |

Yeah i just got my s710 aug 8. already mine has failed. whatever, i was thinking life would be easier without it anyway. i listen to music alot and hate messing with it. |

In the past there were no plugs to fuss with. To me, it was just cosmetics. It was a nuissance at times.... to unplug.. then plug again.
No major loss. Be happy

wow, i pulled it out and it came out easier than i thought it would. very happy with the results. no more unplugging!
