When R1J was released it had a problem with o2 GPRS. This time they are making sure the new firmware works with all the phones so that means more time. |

O2 as not yet signed off on the Update released by SE...O2 Dumb a$$es!
I have a couple of days to return my phone and tomorrow if O2 wont upgrade my firmware to R1N in a store they can have both my wifes and mine back that £450 pounds they wont see.... I will go further and buy 2 unbranded W800i and change operators to Orange....
Sick of O2 to the roots of my hair... They owe me £70 in phone credit for the upgrade and they said anything up to 14 days it is now 21 days and nothing.

I am not sure that O2 will release R1N035 at all. I think they might be conformance testing R1N055 (which might be called something else by the time it is released). |

Mate go to a SE service center and ask them to flash your K750i O2 branded to the R1N035...
only way according to SE support personnel....

Is on on O2 and from O2 or did that come from somewhere else and maybe had something done via davinci or similar?
Forgive my scepticism but until mine and my wifes an Original O2 locked and branded update, I think there mmust be a catch somewhere...
That is of course to say it is not impossible....., just very dificult to swallow down here..

Slattery, is your handset 02 branded? i.e. on the main menu screen is there a 02 logo on the sheet of paper icon (top left). |

it doesnt appear to be branded just o2 as the provider though i bought the phone on an o2 contract, but it may be that it was a sim free one used as a contract
so that could be why i have had no problem updating the software as its an unbranded one my apologise for confusion |

@slattery69
What is your CDA?
Incidentally I have just checked the SEUS for O2 firmware by updating my O2 handset (CDA102338/16). SEUS still provides R1L002 on this phone.

The 38 at the end of the CDA shows that you have a generic UK firmware. This is why you are able to get R1N - SEUS recognises the CDA (along with other bits and pieces) as a Generic UK phone and can therefore put the latest Generic UK firmware (R1N) onto your phone. An O2 phone has 16 at the end of the CDA. SEUS recognises this as a branded O2 UK phone and downloads and installs the latest O2 branded firmware, which is R1L.
