I have just got a v800 but it has the problem of loss of reception when closed, this is a firmware issue and i am wondering if anybody offers the service of reflashing it?

I can reflash it for you but I think you will find it is a hardware problem and not software.

i have read a fair few circumstances where it loses signal and the problem has been solved by the means of a reflash.

How much would you do it for?

I heard a few people who have had the same problem and tried flashing the phone and it still didnt work. I also read the it was something to do with an RF chip on the main board.

worse case scenario, if that was so how much would it cost to repair?
