Hello
As i'm trying to use an SMTP with my W800, and none of the works, I installed a server on my computer (SMTP), only to found out that I couldn't use it since ISP blocks port º25...
So I was thinking of, some software that would be 'listening': I could use it as a "SMTP" server in the cell configuration, but instead of directly sendind the messages, it would redirect them or something through an account configurated in Outlook, or to an account I configured right there in the program...
Any ideas on which one could I use?? It's my last hope of being able to send mail from the computer!! |

you could change the ports in smtp server and the mobile phone. set them to something else, than 25 and your isp should not have any problems with it. i think setting to something like 6872 will be perfectly okay |

I tried that but it still doesn't work... says that it's blocked (the same that with the port 25)
Any ideas why that happens=? |

than i guess your mobile internet is only wap not full internet access, which is necessary (as far as i know) to access anything else than webpages. just in case try setting the port to 80 on both and see... never tried but there might be a chance it will work unless your isp has blocked that port also
