Z800i change/ add message alert |

Hi... i`m a new lucky owner of a Z800i SE and have been trying for many hours to change and/or add ring tones to my message alert folder. On my old P900 i could do this but as yet have not found anyway to edit the messages alert sounds.
Can they be changed or add new to the list?
If so can they be made in mp3 format?
I have managed to add mp3 sounds to my ringtones folder with no problems.

You can only use the five predefined message tones that the phone comes with. You cannot add your own tones for messages. This is something that SE have changed on the new handsets like the K750i.
