So far I have experienced no bugs what so ever. In my opinion its the same as the previous one really except better video quality and a few other tweaks. I would recommend you get it though. |

It worked fine for me but it didn't fix the gamma/contrast issue.

Generally speaking people find R1N to be the best firmware so far. Of course, some people have problems - mostly with firmware update process - but generally speaking it is as good as, if not slightly better than, R1L with the added advantage of notably improved video bitrates.
@dispher
The gamma correction is only very slight and may not be noticed by many users. I think one of Numb's old posts goes into a little more detail about this - i.e. the gamma correction he uses when creating themes is very slightly less than what he used to use for the same result on previous firmwares.
Just to add, if people have noticed specific bugs that were not present in their previous firmware then please post the information in the K750 / W800 Firmware Overview page. We can then do tests on other R1N and previous firmwares to confirm that the issue is down to the firmware itself and not just a problem on one phone.

I wouldn't recommend you to do it. On my phone all my older pictures have been corrupt and I can't look at them.
And another problem I have had is I can't upload MP3's to the phone (only one by one) or else they also gets corrupt. |

Why do people keep creating new threads on this subject when it all belongs to mwarners fine "K750 / W800 Firmware Overview page"?

Thanks Cyber
It is true that a few people do have problems with phones they have personally flashed to R1N. However, the vast majority of problems are not specific to the firmware as they are not reproducible on other R1N phones. It is more likely that the firmware update process went wrong (check your logs). Additionally it is wise to update the phone without the memory card inserted. If you are having problems with corruption of items on the card then make a backup of your card, format it in Windows, put it back in the K750 and then copy those files that you require back onto the device. |

The only problem on R1N so far is this;
When you move a file into another folder, when you get the list of which folder to move it into, it doesn't show up in alphabetical order.
I've put the "sort by" option to "by name" and all my folders & files are in alphabetical order, except when you move a file, it shows the folders randomly. No big deal but I like my stuff to be organised & neat.
Does anyone else have this? |

one problem that I have with R1L is that:
on R1L it seems like the camera has a hard time focusing on dark images, but then again... i can just push the button all the way down and the picture it takes seems to be in focus so it seems like it's focused, it just doesnt *beep* telling you that it has focus. (speculating here)
other than that, I'm not sure if i've noticed any 'bugs' in R1N |

Just updated to R1N and now my HBH-300 seems to work fine, had R1J on my Orange branded K750i, and could not use the HBH-300 with it, but can on my sim free K750i on R1L.
