If I plug my phone in to charge, whether it is via the USB or not, if I knock the cable gently and the adapter moves when it is connected to the phone - it breaks the connection.

Same thing happens when I have the headphones in... If I knock the adapter very very slightly downwards, I lose the sound.

so the charger lead, USB lead and headphones cannot all be faulty.

Is the port on the phone fautly or are the all a bit sensitive?

Cheers for any help!

I'd say you have a faulty connection on the bottom of the phone. It will be covered under warranty anyway, so its not too bad!

This is prolly the fault of the cable port not the phone connecter. The reason I say this is b/c the same thing happens with my USB cable but not with the wall charger nor with the headphones. When I plug my USB cable into the phone I have to be careful not to touch it or else the connection will be lost, but when i connect the headphones or the wall charger i can touch them forever and the connection is still there. I think the problem lies within the 2 plastic prongs that stick out of the cable port, they don't hold the port firmly into place with the phone connector thus the cable moves and the connection is lost.
should come up with a different design for their connnectors with future phones coz this design is a failure IMHO.
