K700i major problem |

Hi, I think you've already seen this a load of times, but I don't get any of the solutions anyone's put before.
Yesterday, I used SEMCtool 2.2 on my k700i and checked the reset SP settings box in the last tab. After finishing that process, upon turning on my phone, all that happened was the phone began to blink a white screen, and the only way to stop it is to remove the battery. I tried to use the recovery mode on SEUS, but it won't load up on my browser, no idea why.
PLEASE HELP!!!
Thanks so much |

you might have to disable your nortons firewall as it did this on mine too.

Isn't taking it to CW gonna cost like £40? And, I'm not sure if I can find my reciept to take it to an SE service centre. Anyway of sorting it out for free? |

Hi
Still broke guys.
I need someone elses K700i on the same kinda of thing to get SEUS to recognize mine, having never used it before. I have a friend with a K700i with T-mobile firmware, and mine has Vodafone firmware. Can I use SEUS to update his, and then somehow fool it into thinking that his is mine and recover mine?
Thanks. |

Are you sure? I checked at my local service centre and its near enough £60 to repair it. Argos are selling it for £74.99, so going to an SE centre is a hassle. Then again, they just gave me a quote for an overall repair, so maybe this is cheaper. I lost my reciept like two months ago, so I'll have to pay for any repairs. Any way of doing it using SEUS? |

Hehe..i meant..i don't think there's a way to trick SEUS into thinkin your friend's phone is yours..basically because they are both branded by different operators ...and the CDA numbers would be different...im no expert...but i think that's how SEUS identifies phones..by matching the CDAs

Okay, I'll try anyway, but you're probably right, it probably uses the CDA, and I think mine is 29 and his is 36. The DaVinci recover thing is free - has anyone got any ideas onto how to actually use that mode with a DSS-20?
Thanks. |
