I have read in many places on this forum about draining the battery.....how do u do it?

you can short-circuit the battery...this may damage the battery, but it will certainly drain it much faster(and cheaper) than calling..

Get the battery out of the phone and connect a bulb of a torch to it. Even if you cant light your house with 3.6 V lamp it will empty the battery quite well.

Or put the phone in a place with a very week signal or no signal at all.
This will suck the battery very quickly (even quicker if you put on IRDA and Bluetooth)

I think its really not necessary to drain the T68's battery since its lithium polymer, which has no memory effect.

Lol............u ppl sure have given neat advice to drain the battery... I thought there was probably some function inside the settings of the phone to drain the battern, like in Siemens phones.....but what you are telling is completely ......

Anyways, T68 rockz, I dont need any battery discharge to keep it running
