Wow! the phone is (i think) pretty much exactly to the W800, so may it be available through a firmware update? |

i have a k750i and since the S600 came out i wanted the phone but i didnt like the idea of having only 64mb memory
but then SE pulled a quick one and replaced it with w550i wich made me want that model
its got some new things like 1000 phone book memory and html browser and flight mode which i dont have in k750i so cant wait to buy this baby
just saw the pcs and i think the back light is more yellow then orange and the standby display with shortcuts is amazing

i saw the vdo and its the menu hmmmmmmm nice i like it but i also like the normal coloured icons too but i think this is really different form all others and thats why i want it

it hurts my eyes! too much movement and glowing! too 80's retro funky. but it would be great if they add this to next available firmware update for more option.
i still prefer the 3d standard SE GUI. clean and eye pleasing.

Me too! Anyway.( the menu can be influenced by themes. As far as I understand the concept, there are 2 or 3 pre-installed flash-files which build up the menu, and those flash-files can be referenced within the theme-definition )
Q ( I have 2 questions about this bad boy as i am now considering it over the W800i.
Does it have a flight mode like the W800i.
Any know when it is due to be released )

I assume its supposed to be better than the W800?? why only 1,3 mp cam?? Is it supposed to be better than a W800? |

W550/600 is not supposed to better than w800 (although its more advanced than w800 in terms of browser ,improved menu,inclusion of edge in w600 ) ,its a cheaper walkman phone .
