Bluetooth distance range w/k750-w800? |

Hi!
I was wondering... if I use a class 1 (100m) Bt-USB dongle to connect to my w800... will I be able to use it from (as far) as 100 m? I mean... I read that as the cell phone doesn't emit a very 'high powered' BT signal, it won't be able to reach that distance... is that true?
If so, then what do you think is the farest I could be with my phone to my PC? If it's less than 10m, then I should buy a class 1 device and same some bucks, right?
Thanks in advance. |

the most you'll get from most SE phones is 10m and thats if conditions are perfect so having a 100m blutooth dongle won't do you any good, unfortunately

I have just changed my 10m bt dongle for a 100m bt dongle and with my W800i I can get a lot better range. I can get a signal between the two at about 20m aways through a brick wall.
