Erm, Just wondering Why is there a Red Led Inside the Infra Red Window area?
Is there any other uses besides, ultra low power warning. It probably show that it's on 'reserve' power?

Well I've had mine about 3 months and never knew it did that. Clever little thing...gonna drain the battery now lol

It is quite useless, the red led.You hardly notice it and usually the indiucation on the screen is enough. Also it sometimes starts to blink when the screen-indicator still is in the green. |

hmm.... cool? Anyway, I think it shows that it's on reserve power probably. Cause when the phone cuts out, after a few secs I turn it back on to find the ext. red light blinking at me. and I have about 10% battery life left.
I think it's neat.. hehehe

HUH WOW WOW WOW This isn't no led ligh this is the infareds port on .EVERONE HERE TAKE ATV REMOTE AND PUT In INFRONT OF A CAMERA AND JUST PRESS RANDOM BUTTONS U WILL SEE THE REMOTE IR PORT MAKING BRIGHT FLASH, this is the ir port send or waiting for a request.
make sure you have a remote that has a viewable ir led diod insteat of infront of a red panel because it will make it look red.
ANY BODY TESTED IT

Could be true, i dont know as i dont have the phone but there was a thread a while ago where someone showed this and explained it using a t610's infra-red.

There really is a red LED inside the infra-red window area. I know what others are saying; that it looks like an active IR port but I've set up over 2,500 K750i's and there's an LED that flashes when the battery hits 10% (ish) or less.

H m m m, I thought that RED light will lit if I turn-ON the IR function/feature  Yup, looks like a LOW-Batt indicator here same with the K700i one.
