how do i use EDGE to connect from PC |

this is my first post to this forum. anyways im currently using my 6610i for connecting to the internet from my PC via a data cable. i get a download speed of about 4kBps(thats bytes). im in kerala and im using airtel mobile office. i want to know if i cant access the internet as im doing now using a nokia 6020 over an EDGE connection. airtel customer service doesnt have much of an idea about this but they say i can access EDGE only on a 6230. but i understand that is only for streaming media. what i need is internet access.
another thing is that unlike the 6610i i couldnt find any way to set the GPRS bearer settings manually for the 6020. like IP address,security ..etc.
well? anybody got any idea?

i am a hutch subscriber so i am not sure what you should, here is my best bet tho cal airtel cc guys and ask them 2 provide u with the settings for ur nokia6020 over mobile office. Once your settings are right you will directly enjoy EDGE provided the network supports it |
