It will make it to 83% at the most.
I charge it by usb because I broke my charger.
Does anyone else have this issue?

it is normal. it happens with my k750 also. maximum it charges till 85%. if the battery is completely drained, then it will not charge through usb cable.

there are a few threads on this topic and it happened with me too.

as I recall, its only a problem for early firmware versions so just out of interest, have you updated to R1L or later?

This has happened since the first firmware, now I have the latest R1N. It does not bother me to much but eventually I would like to get a normal charger. Does anyone know a cool after market charger an external speaker stand or a cheap place to buy a sony ericcson oem charger for the K750.

Thanks in advance.

how about usb charger DRAINING battery - my "M.F" retractable cable does this from car usb outlet, or mains "travel" adapter usb outlet.

firmware R1L - and still cr@ppy bluetooth....

First of all, you have to have the SE SW installed to charge via USB. Then it will charge your phone, but only to ~80%.
If you don't have the SW installed, the USB cable will DRAIN your battery instead. Hopefully this will be fixed in later SW, because it says "optimised charging" even if you haven't installed the SW. All info. from SE helpdesk.

I had 36% in the battery on the phone on Sunday. I connected it for about 30 mins to to up, took it of and the phone said 18% and it stayed there for the rest of the day,

I have a Orange k750i with the R1N.

I have never been able to reach 100% so i wonder if SE wrote something into the phone ?

So, given that I CANNOT install usb-drivers onto a car usb-charger (cigar-lighter with usb socket), I cannot charge the K750 in this way???
