Okay, I really don't understand this stuff...

Umm, can someone explain to me how it works etc. and how to set it up?

I've tried sending O2's GPRS settings to my phone, I don't receive them. I tried with the O2 Active settings, I don't receive them.
The phone was originally T-Mobile, but I have an O2 Genie SIM in (And have an Orange one from my old phone that I can put in). But I now don't have the T-Mobile SIM, with the Orange or O2, is there anyway I can access GPRS for free (Does it cost anyway? >.<) and without the 50p required calling time to access?

Can you explain things such as, what costs, what I can do etc.?

If there's anything else you need to know about the phone, just ask.

But I'm really lost with everything ><

Under Data Communication there is an option called Wap Profiles. Here you have to choose the newly installed settings. But you have to of received them first. Have you tried the SE website?

I tried sonyericsson.com

I still don't receive the messages, and (I didn't try THAT hard), but I couldn't find any online for the t610 on O2 (Guess I'll have to check for Orange later)

But when I do get it setup, do I need to be linked to a PC or anything?

Or can I browse websites like this, Google etc. from my mobile when I'm say, at school or something o.O

No you don't have to be plugged in to a PC. Press the T610 joystick up to enter the default wap page. Then press MORE > BOOKMARKS > ADD BOOKMARK and enter wap.Esato.com. Another thing, the settings are posted on this site somewhere.

I knew how to get onto it, lol, just wasn't 100% sure what sites I could visit, and stuff, lol.

Thanks Del for posting that link , I'd already found that website searching Google but it came up with ones for a t68 or something, so I didn't use them and didn't have time to look around.

I just switched my phone on now and it's received the settings though, so I'm okay, lol.

Thanks for all your help guys.

Oh, and one last thing... Is there anyway to get around that thing for needing 50p calling time to be able to access the GPRS?
