I'm sure this question has probably been asked many times but I can't seem to find an answer to it on the forum.

I have downloaded a few background gif's to 'pics to go' on my palm, they have been taken from similar sites as this so they are small(5k) and should be the right size.

For some reason I cannot get the IR port on the 68i to talk to the palm, unknown error message keeps coming up. The Irda is definately working though as there is nothing at all if the port is turned off.

I have deleted a few of the standard backgrounds to make some space but still can't seem to get it to work.

Is no doubt a common problem and one which is easily fixed but any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

What software are you using to beam the gif files to your phone? I use Mcfile and it works perfectly. I have no experience with Pics to Go but maybe the gif file is converted to a pdb file to be viewed by Pics to Go. The phone only accpts .gif, .jpg and .wbmp
