iv bought a usb dongle and i installed the software which came on cd and tht is called bluesoiel or sumfin...and once i connect usb it doesnt get recognised by the pc says it has installed a driver for it. bt on the softare its says just insert it in...is there a driver i need for the usb as i wana transfer stuff of my fone..or which is the best software to use??

i have the exact same problem anyone help? it works on ohter pc's just not this one but the operating system is the same. Blusoliel it say the device has malfunctioned but it works fine on other pcs.

Try using the dongle without installing the Bluesoleil software.....it should work provided you have Windows XP with SP2 installed

I tried that once. Most BT freeware requires several parts to be 'assembled' to get it to work. Much to advanced for some (like me).
Mrao's suggestion worked fine for me.

yes. naitive Bt drivers in win XP w/sp2 work great.

i need the drivers mos likely for the usb thingy.
