Should I case my W800? |

Hello!
I just bought one 1 week ago and I was wondering if I should put it in a case to protect it. Things that I hate about doing that:
1) very unconfortable to put it in / out to answer, dial, picture, etc.
2) block the fast port conector, so while in the case I won't be able to use the handsfree!
3) don't wear belt to clip it on
But... I feel guilty if I don't use one... so, what do you think? And also... should I leave the protective plastic that came in the screen?
Thanks. |

Buy an ICE-25 leather case/pouch. You dont need a belt with it.
Then buy an anti glare screen protector from Pivot and take off the plastic thing thats on the phone.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose |

Yes... I saw it; but it's pretty ugly and quite expensive for what it's worth!
Anyway... does it block the fast connector?

Well... I bought the ICE 25 today!
Is it truly the one to use with the W800? As it's not stated on the website, blister of the case, etc (neither K750); although SE told me to buy that model.
I ask because to use the fast port connection you have to tilt the cell a little bit... it's not that it fits PERFECTLY .
Are they planning on releasing a new pouch for this cell? |

I hate to get scratches on any mobile phone screen, so I can sympathise with you. However I find cases quite tacky and frankly unattractive (if you stick the phone in a case, you'll end up looking like some unfortunate guy from IT).
Generally I just keep the phone in a trouser pocket with nothing else (been doing that for years, and there are never any scratches). Otherwise, I carry my phone in my briefcase. Companies such as Mulberry, Prada, Smythson (of Bond Street), Louis Vuitton etc. all have solutions which cater for people who need to carry mobile phones. I personally use an excellent briefcase which I bought from Dunhill in Jermyn Street. Hope this helps.

I just got an ICE-25 today for my w800i. I like it. The w800i fits perfectly in it and it's not too bulky. You do have access to the quickshare port so you can hook your your handsfree, charger, or usb without removing it from the case (assuming you dont pull down the velcro flap down too tightly. If you leave a bit of slop for the phone to move a bit you can easily access the connector) |

I got a Bodyglove case for mine and it is great. It doesnt block the connector, you can use the camera while still in the case but it does have a belt clip.

I agree with London-UK, I just keep mine in my right trouser pocket, screen turned towars my leg, keep everyting else (loose change, keys, etc) in left pocket. That way phone never gets damaged, and you don't have to add extra bulk to the phone. |

As soon as I got my K750, I took off the factory screen protector and put on a piece of PDA/Digicam screen protectors. I don't like to use cases coz they tend to make the phone a bit bulky. Just take care when u put the phone in u're pocket, don't put sharp objects with it. |

personally, i dont prefer any cases or screen protectors. there is a reason for it. new mobiles are hitting the market every few months and i'm the one who keeps up with latest technologies in mobiles. so a mobile serves an average of 5-6 months in my hands and i dont want it with a fat casing. i know it's going to be sold within few months. so no cases for me. i want to use the mobile the way it is built. no any frills.

Unless you flush with cash and when it is scratched bumped or whatever else and running down the shop to get the latest, some form of protection is not too bad a idea...
That or insurance...
I got the screen protectors and a GOLLA pouch...
