O2 Staff. please help me with this. |

HI I had a O2 pay as you go mobile with an email address set up and a log in onto the O2 website to collect my emails and edit my profile etc....
I then got a contract phone and asked to keep the same log in and same email address and just add the contract onto my already created log-in.
Rather than the staff in the O2 shop listening to what I reuested, they set up a new log in that is different to my original one so now I have a phone number registered to one log in and I can only view my bills through the other.
Is there any way I can transfer the 'view bill' section of my online account so that it works with the email address that I have been using for ages like it should have been done in the first place.
When I asked customer services if this is possible they said that this information is generated automaticly and could not be altered.
So I am left with one mobile that I can send emails from it with one account and another to view my bills. Through no fault of my own and they say basicly... TOUGH!!!
Is there any department that could alter this website / log in billing information???
Thanks

i too have this problem, but it was caused by myself ording the contract phone under a different account. I had contacted o2 too to see if i could change my details over to the other user name and they said no, sorry couldnt be done.
A bit crap I say.
How long have you had this contract? if it was within the 14days you could cancel it and demand they get it right next time

Did you expressly state you wanted the service transfered when you got the contract phone. If so, you could try suggesting they're in breach of contract as they haven't delivered what you ordered.
I've generally found O2 to be reasonable, I just have to keep on emailing them until I get what I want. Eventually they always find a way.
