hehe hey guys im back.well actually finally moved to saudi and got dasl on a wireless lan it kicks ass!!!
hey ejasim we thought etisdalat was a monopoly you should see saudi haha
and life here is different but all those horror stories are fake!
any how to answer your question i acxtually have an air frequency radio given to me buy an uncle who was an air controller... its a sony.ive seen them available in holland....its pretty cool btw the antenna is huge ill post up a pic soon

hey snake. How is saudi? isn't the proxy there worse that it is at my end? I went to radio shack dubai today & they said that it was illegal and the penalty was 6 months in jail!!! do you think that's true??

you arse hole. we aint no terrorists. what's wrong with listening to aircraft communicating to air traffic?!?! go onto google & search for aircraft frequencies & ull get hundreds of AMERICAN sites about it!!! U saying that sony is a terrorist too?!?! fukin racist

Hey long time no see, I know the scanning radios are pretty easy to get here in NZ too, my Mum's got one, she used to listen to the old analogue cell phone network here, she's nosey, and she can pick up one of the police bands too, I think any of those radios that does heaps of bands will do the job, It's not very interesting listening though, all you get is the aircraft registration, numbr of people on board, flight plan, destination and stuff, depends on the airport though, I was listening up in Aberdeen, and some german pilot was making jokes about putting his towel down first and being first on the runway. |

Yeah good, been back in NZ for about a week now, just settling back in, you might need to wait until you're back in Europe to find one of those radios. |
