Try taking the battery out and put it back in with no sim card and hold the power button down for 10 seconds or more.

If not...

take it to a service centre if its less than 12 months old its covered under warrenty...

Same thing happened to mine. Its a bugger isn't it? :-( You can tell how old the handset is. There is the date on the sticker that you see when remove the battery. It will say something like 05W15 which is Year 05 Week 15. Mine was purchased about 3 weeks after it was made so this is a reasonable indication. If you send it to SE They will request proof of purchase. If it is on contract they should do it free of charge.

Ok, whas your phone fixed? what was the failing thing?
The problem is that the phone is my fathers old phone
and i have an overtake. So i dont have any receipt.

I went to Dialect hear localy.. and told him that it doesnt work.. blablabla.. he agreed after he tried to turn it on. He felt the vibration.. then nothing more happend. He took it and wrote me a receipt so i can get my phone back then... after i have checked with my father if he got a receipt for order...

If not then i have to take the phone back and cant do anything about it if i dont wanna pay cant understand what can be wrong!!

For now i have my T630 phone good to save old phones

Sell the phone on Ebay or something, it will be worth something to someone in parts, the screen alone if intact is probably worth at least £50!

our service center told me that the cost will be about €100-200
and it could be systemcard or displaycard that is corrupt.

Mine was fixed under warranty and returned to me in about 10 days. Have you checked the date on the sticker? How old is it? If it is over a year old then it must be a very early handset because I think the model was only released last October. When was it made?

they are idiots. First thing is to reflash the phone with latest firmware, often the software dies when installing java, surfing on gprs, etc. This can be solved with a firmware upgrade. If after reflash still doesnt work is the hardware fault and that can be very expensive. But try first a clean flash.

Week 41 begins Monday 10th October so you have 4 weeks left of the Warranty :-D. Get a receipt and send it off to them. Good Luck!
