hey all,
got an interesting problem with my K750i, it seems to keep losing the background image behind my icons in the menu. Most of the time the i have the right image there, but then if you leave the phone alone for a few hours, and go to use the phone, i'll get a huge chunky black image behind the icon depending on which way i point the joystick?
I've tried 3 different firmwares now R1L Optus, R1L unbranded, and R1N unbranded so i don't think it is a firmware issue?
Any advice or has anyone seen anything similar?

I too get this on the odd occassion. I went from R1L Optus branded to R1N unbranded.
I thought it may have been related to themes I installed but that is not the case.
Oddly I also noticed that when the background disappears and icons get a black box around them, the ring tone will also disappear.
It's got me puzzled.

Dont run themes or ringtones from the msd, copy them to internal memory and run them from there. It sounds like a case of the phone temporarily loosing connection with the msd, thus not being able to show theme or play the ringtone if they are on the msd.
I allways keep "static" things like themes, contactpictures, ringtones, inside internal memory, and only keep videos, pictures and music files on the msd.

Thanks numb.
I will give that a try and see if that resolves the problem.

I'm having the same problem. After about a day or so, my background will go blank and my ringtone won't work anymore. I have to reset the settings to get everything working again. I saved my ringtone onto the phone and I'm using the theme that came w/ the phone. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong or do I just have a faulty phone? Thanks for the help! |

guys... guys... guys!!! Why should you "have" to run stuff from fone memory???
If the fone is wacked take it back and get it exchanged... simple...
Why try impossible long list of maybe it will fix it replys?
This is for the users that have had theire phone past warranties and that have played with theire phones in a manner that voids thewarranty....
For those with issues like this, dont fiddle, dont paly... take it back and exchange it for a brand new one....
