K750 - freezing problem (still ) |

Ok, I've read through loads of posts about K750 freezing problem but can't really find a proper solution. So the main answer is upgrade firmware which I have done via SE site - Still froze every day ! Then I sent it back to SE repair centre (twice!) and it still freezes. So is there actually a solution or do most people just live with this problem? Would a w800i software update help? I've always like SE phones but this problem is doing my head in and now thinking of reverting to my old faithful K700. |

Hi georgeb, try another sim with the handset and check if it still freezes. |

tried it but still freezes - only tried O2 sims though - could that be the problem? |

you should try sims other than O2, if problem persist SE should have the handset swopped out. |

Had the phone 2 months, and I got my first freeze on my K750i last night (firmware R1L002). I was zooming in on a pic I'd taken earlier. No buttons seemed to work after a while - the back button, the on/off button, the zoom in/out whatever. Even when I closed the lens cover, it just stayed there in camera mode stuck on the same picture. Even the lights wouldn't go off. I'm not on o2 myself. I'm on Vodafone.
I had to take the battery out. Then when I put the battery back in and switched it on again, I got the "insert SIM" message. I didn't take out my SIM. Grrrrrrrrr. It sorted itself out after a while and all is ok again. But if this problem persists, I might just get the K750i flashed to a W800i because there is no sign whatsoever of a new updated K750i firmware.
