i managed to configured HBH-10 Headset and MSI Bluetooth USB key to work with my Win XP's media player recently. Both microphone and headset are working properly.

what can it do without a headset?
I set it up and connected the "voice gateway" from the pc.
Now I have "HBH" permantly listed im my accesories menu, and a headset menu in the bluetooth menu. But I can't seem to get sound to go either way between the pc and the phone.
Is is supposed to be able to do anything?
The phone reports supporting Voice gateway,
and if I go to the HBH accessory while in range it connects to the "Headset" service on the pc.

I'm a bit confused as to what I'm doing.

I've tried to connect PC voice gateway with T68 too. It won't work . I suppose you need to use it with HBH headset.

I don't think that sort of thing works yet, if it ever will.
I had to unpair my desktop from my phone coz everytime i got a call it would say "Bluetooth connection failed" as it tried to reach the headset I don't have.
Now the HBH is no longer in the accessories menu.

I don't know if its supposed to be able to do something, only that is doesn't work. I suppose that must be why the HSP profile isn't installed by default, they havn't finished working on it yet.

There is actually defined two Bluetooth profile for this. It's called "Intercom", and "Cordless Phone".

However I have yet to see anything support this. And the T68 does not have this feature. I hope this happens soon!

The Bluetooth SIG homepage has listed 11 software components, but only two actual products with the Intercom profile:
Fujitsu "Airjuke", and Motorola "Audi Telematic Telephone Control Unit".

Searching for the Airjuke, I find 26 pages on Google. Everyone in Japanese.

Searching for the Motorola, it seems to be something for use in Audi cars?

How do you pair the hbh-15 to the pc!? I press the headset button till it is discoverable, then pc ask for the passkey and I type in 0000, then the headset light change from red/green flash to just green flashing.. then pc say pairing failed. Is there something I am doing wrong!?

TDKsystems bluetooth (PC card and USB) supports test software for Headset profile (supported by Ericsson HBH) so it is possible to use it with PC.

Make sure you use the same password to pair both T68/HBH and HBH/PC. Try this

Just how, exactly? I've paired the Phone and headset to the PC without any (well, many) issues, but it doesn't appear to be able to do much else... so, How?

Ed...I'm guessing you have the HBH-30. The HBH-30 can only be FULLY paired with one device, unlike the older HBH-10/15 which can handle 8 devices.

BT headset paired with PC, you can use it for MSN netmeeting audio/video chat. Kinda dumb actually since the range is only a few feet, and pointless to have a video chat and you're not in front of the cam.

So far, audio capabilities are VERY VERY limited. I'll wait for newer drivers.

Guys this topic is interesting! If it's possible to pair the headset to the pc and use it as headphone-mic, has anyone tried using their bluetooth headset for voice recognition? I have this cool voice command application and I'm wondering if it will be an effective replacement for my mic.
