Sound volume of mp3 on K750i |

I've been burning CDs on iTunes and playing the mp3s on my K750i... but the volume is a bit low (even with the phone at max). Is the K750i a "quiet" phone or am I doing something wrong (e.g. can I increase the record levels in iTunes)?
Thanks!

Hey,
I dont know if you have done this, but I had a similar 'problem', and simply went to the equalizer in the media player, pressed the right soft-key to go to manual, and changed all the bars to highest setting... resulting in loud playback of MP3 files. Even so, the earphones which come with the K750i aren't that great, so if you get a 3.5mm adapter you can use your own earphones, which should generally be louder...
I would also suggest you check if 'auto volume limiting' is enabled in itunes settings - this setting makes all your music files of a similar volume.. so maybe that is to blame. Try disabling that and see if that works.
Hope this helps,

Thanks for that but I like my EQ as it is! So the phones are quiet and I'd be better off getting a cnverter?

Hi,
You can increase the volume of the mp3 in iTunes by right clicking the selected track/tracks and clicking on "Get Info".
The "Options" tab gives you the Volume adjustment Slider. |

Thanks, so if I do that the mp3s will be copied 'louder'?

Hi chaps.
A quick note on this. The first firmware release on the K750 did have quite a low volume on the media player.
Since then there have been subsequent firmware upgrades released by Sony Ericsson, and one of the changes has been increased media player volume.
You can upgrade the firmware yourself from the Sony Ericsson website, but be aware that in the newer firmwares the video capture quality is significantly reduced.
This post has loads of info:

The fella with the first post seems to update it regularly - I wouldn't bother reading the whole topic (why do so many posts start so well and then get clogged up with crap posts? Obvious reasons I guess, but frustrating).
