N90 is series 60 right?
Use a file explorer like Fexplorer and navigate to Z:\nokia\Sounds to find the nokia.mid tone and press option and select send via bluuetooth.
That should work.
But i'm not sure wheteher fexplorer works on the N90..

Hmmm....
Didn't work.
The only place I find the ringtone on the phone is in Profiles and there is no send option, only select.
The ringtones has to be stored somewhere else?
Next (only?) option is as I asked in the topic I linked to in the first post.

Have you got ''fexplorer'' on your N90 phone? Like above you should be able to send via BT.
I can send you fexplorer if you do not have it, it's only small 32kb. |

Here's a step by step procedure to navigate to the default ringtones folder in s60 Nokias.
This may differ from model to model but it should be somewhat similar.
1.Open Fexplorer
2.Navigate to the Zdrive
3.Open z and you should se something like this..
4.Then go to the "Nokia' option and you should see something like this..
5.Go to "sounds" and you'll see a similar screen..
6.Select "Digital" and hey presto you're there!
Scroll down to the tone you want, select options--->Send--->Via Bluetooth
That should do it!

@Mamber
Never got it
@whizkidd
There is nothing on my N90 that looks anything near that...
Had a PM from another member who will email me the ringtone so we might as well leave it at that, for now.

I know, but I'm so not used to the Nokia menus that I get mixed up in the tinyest little things on the N90.
(Never liked Nokia much but this N90 is really growing on me!)

Nokia disabled the sending of ringtone from phone to phone (presumably to protect operators ringtone download revenue).
But as with any smartphone, this restriction can be circumvented using some 3rd party software. |
