http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=103308

I tried to restart (power recycle) the phone and got "Configuration error, please contact your network operator or service centre"

All i've tried is just to install opera mini, not even took a snap with this phone! Just 5 days old

Any help much appreciated!

Thanks
Sunil

Any ideas?

I'm able to use in flight mode and receive calls. But not able to anything other than accept calls (not even disconnect)

Sounds like something to do with the java version on the phone....best to take it to the service centre and have them perform a firmware re-flash. The phone is surely under a warranty, isn't it?

I'm from chennai, India but live here.

But guys, is there anyway to do a master reset or something like that via any hidden menu? I've seen service menu but no option to reset

Update:

Walked in to CPW service centre in oxford street. One lady took the phone to another room and returned quickly and informed that they don't have expertise to do this and the phone can be replaced with another brand new one.

As i purchased this online e2save i've to wait the courier to deliver-collect.

Phone status: now just a flashing screen if we switch on and even with power button i can't switch off (i've to remove batter to power off)
