Not a big deal, but in totaly silence, i can hear some quiet metallic sound when pressing the joystick very firm, not to go in any directions like normal use, just 2-3 mm up down left right - is this normal or not? If not, i will buy a w800 tomorrow. |

Of course it will sound when you click it!!!!!! If it doesnt sound it means that your joystick is not working!!!!!! |

Im not clicking it! Im firmly pressing it in any damn directions when i hear that metallic quiet sound. Read my first post! If you tried it out you knew what im talking about

Take a chance and try folks! Just firmly press the joystick in any damn directions, noor more then 2-3 mm. Do hear a f**king damn metallic sound?

I used to have a K750 with the same problem. When i pressed it the metal sound is there. In the end (2 Months) the joystick failed.
I i used the joystick in any direction and pressed the middle, the joystick would do what ever it wanted. Infact I could watch the menus scrolling all on there own. very funny it was, also very anoying.
Any way I got a replacemen Phone from Orange insurance as the phone was useless with out a joystick.

Hmm... doesnt sound good at all... So my new phone got a beginning joystick problem then? Though this metallic sound was normal |

Yes, I heard it too when I first got the phone, but I guess I've gotten used to it now. Can't say I've noticed it lately atleast. |

First was the topic on the tiny holes on the surface, (yes, those you had to see with a magnifying glass).
Then the "different" frequencies on your K750.
And now a metallic sound on your joystick???
What's next?
