the hidden "service mode" menu that is accesed by pressing ">*<<*<*" (at least in t65) has lots of curious things.

-- in the "service settings" menu, what are "select flip" and "select speaker"?

-- is "real time clock" under "service tests" menu, a real time clock refresher?

-- is there any way to change the "text labels"?

The "select flip" thing is there because the software in T65 is equal to the software in for example T39, which has a flip. It resets the mircophone, which can be used if the sound from the microphone is low, the same things goes for the speaker.

The "Real time clock" under Service tests is just to test if the internal clock circuit is working.

You can't change the text labels... they just are there..
