Has anyone had a problem with their phone just blanking out? I put my phone into silent mode and then went to put it back on normal 2 hours later and the screen was white when I took it out of my pocket. I tried to clear the screen and then tried to turn it off but nothing worked, so I just took the battery out. I then waited a couple of minutes and put the battery back in and tried to turn the phone on but nothing happened. If anyone has had this problem please give me some guidance on how to fix it. Thanks..

Can you successfully turn on your phone at all?

Try reflashing the firmware. If the problem still exists, time to bring it to the service centre.

FYI, I have had the rare case in which the phone blanked out but normally after removing and re-inserting the battery and powering on, it was fine.

No I cant even turn on the phone. I have already called SE and they gave me an address to send the phone in for service. They said that it would take a month or so to fix. What do you think about that? If they are unable to fix it will they replace it? I bought the phone three weeks ago. I hope that they do. Thanks for the reply. Zeke

If they cant fix it, and its under a warranty, I see no reason why they would/should not replace it....and you are not the first person to have faced this issue ( if that makes you feel any better )
