im not sure if w800 supports aac files but if it does, does anyone know where i can get a free converter for my mp3 files to aac? i read somewhere that it can have better quality than mp3 and consume less space.thnx!!

use itunes, and then rename the extensions .3gp

Keep in mind you will further degrade quality going from one lossy format to another. You are better off re-ripping your cds, or re-sampling you mp3s.
