May I ask what are the differences between a branded V800 and an unbranded V800?

Branded means it has the operators software on the phone instead of the original manufactures software. This could be something minor like a link to the operators wap site , or something major like all the icons being replaced by operator specific ones.

The picture on the left is a branded Vodafone K750i and the one on the right has the original SE software ( unbranded)

Hope that helps

unbranded handsets are usually more reliable, because of the unbranded software.

Hey, thank you so much guys.
I wonder if it's better to use a branded phone, or unbranded ones... [addsig]

yeah but the networks would claim that the branded version is better as it is 'customised' to work with their network...if you can...get an unbranded phone...although some operators seems to not brand their phone too badly...take the K750i...02 branding is really fine...its voda and orange that change the whole look of the OS....
