@solid, I think I explained this to you before.
Killing an animal can be done in a painless way where there head is chopped off or they are injected to be killed instantly.
e.g. would you like to be hung by the legs and left to die by your throat slit?
or head chopped off?

hey I never said I liked the way they go about doing it.I just know if im gonna eat it i dont want to see how it's killed ,I like to see the finished Product.......
But if you must,Try next time you go food shopping buy nothing but veggies and tofu and come back in a week and tell me that a 32 oz Steak doesnt sound Good.Or some bacon

@amnesia, the way the animal is kiled dsnt matta, you have still taken its life, would you agree to be eaten jus because u wud be killed instantly?

sometimes physical pain is a lot less worse than emotional pain, its about the morales i think, is it morally right to kill an animal, instantly or not

Screw the fact that birds fly.
Screw the fact that the sky is blue.
Stay on topic.
I'll reitterate.
I'm saying that the Muslim way of killing animals (HALAL) is done where the animal is killed so that it feels the most minimal amount of pain possible.
Thats what I'm saying, I'm not discussing emotions, the animals thoughts, or if it can speak.

amnesia im not the only one changing topic, this topic is about whether being non vege is ok or not
im saying that its wrong to eat another animal regardless of how its killed because at the end of the day its still dead. its not gonna come back, IMO its wrong. we can easily survive without it with a few exceptions

How do you know that the animal feels less pain the halal way? Have you consulted one of them? Slowly bleeding to death with your throat slit isn't exactly quick and painless. The animal is aware that it is dying a slow death. How do I know? I've seen it.

The correct way to slaughter is with a very sharp knife with 3 movements and cutting the 3 main veins.
I cut a sheep once and it never 'cried' or put up much of a fight.... |
