you know this is such a sad thing to look at.
Sometimes I wish I was president of the world to torture the people who tortured the dogs.
If they were doing this because it was man's last or only hope, then I 'MIGHT' understand but this is nuts.
In Korea, they have a special breed of dog that is raised like chicken or cows. However still some areas use any dog that they can find or even believe different dogs are tastier than others.
You see, this all started because of starvation in their country... now it's a cultural thing...
It's sad to see this and there is no excuse to torture them, but you have to remember that not all places are like that. And the 'eating' dogs are killed swiftly.
Thats why in Islam we have Halal, to prevent pain caused to animals.
*sighs*
one day we'll have people who use their brains... one day.

The only one i can think of is shark? But you dont find that round your local mini mart that often.
Also i think cetain animals were made for eating only e.g. pigs... what other use do they have?

@amnesia - no offence to islam but how can killing an animal ever be painless?
you kill an animal not only has that animal lost its life but the animals family has lost a member and great pain will always be caused

do animals feel emotion? i for one think they do, i mean, what triggers a dog to whine, bark etc. so losing a family member to them may be the same to them as it is to us. Its a hard topic as animals cant tell us there thoughts and who knows if we'll ever be able to understand animals? And how would this affect life if we could communicate with the animal kingdom? would it bring war? peace? who knows....

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it is too dark to read. (Marx)

Right so pork is not made from pigs then?
And just cos i'm from SE London doesn’t mean I have never visited the country. As it happens I spent many a summer holiday on a farm with my great uncle.
That fact that some find it horrible to think that people eat dogs is imo all down to where you’re from and your culture.
Some people eat certain insects, the Chinese use lions penis’s as medication others used to be cannibals (they may well still be in parts of Papua New Guinea).
Muslims won’t or rather belief its wrong to eat swine (pig/pork/ham…etc) where as I’m quite happy to tuck into a bacon sandwich.
Although I do not like the way some animals are kept before the slaughter. I think all animals should be free range before being put in my Sunday roast!
