i think that kind of picture could be taken with the k750 with the flash attachment...
For an even better picture angle, lie flat on the tracks in front of the train

I wont stay on the tracks too long of corse, but it would been a heck of a picture!
Why shouldnt the k750 be able to take a pic like that? |

FYI Dr david, the 2nd pic (vertical pic of loco) WAS taken using a K750i by ME...
However, the 1st pic (night time) was on a website and was clicked on a Canon A95

One thing I'd suggest as the light level is low is to place the K750 somewhere stable - rest it on a rock or something to minimise blur

Yeh, place it on something to stop camera shake, and if you put the self timer on then you can press the button, and then leave the camera absolutly still while it takes the shot. |

Yeah and of course you have to use night mode. But play around with the white balance and brightness/darkness before u take a pic.

yes, and flash my help for close up, but will make anything beyond about 3-4 metres darker. |

I don't think flash would do any good. You need a very well distributed lighting. Check the pic again. It looks like a bright moonlight with the aid of properly positioned spot lights.
resistance is futile. |
