The k750i would exceed your expectations on those 2 features that are important to you....you may want to check out the k750i pics thread to see the cam quality.... you may also want to consider the w800i, which shares t samecam as the k750i, but has an enhanced media player |

thanks for the reply.. ive also seen the w800 n it seems to be a good phone also, the only main difference between both of them is the main appearance right, ones white n orange, other one black??
im starting to really like the sound of both of these phones & the image quality is unbelieveable im quite impressd but if u had to pick one or the better one which would it be? & are they easy to use considering im going from one of the 1st colour phones nokia brought out? |

Overall, I'm really satisfied with my K750, except for a squeaking noise that has on the right hand side, on the 'C' key area... and apparently other members here in esato have complained about the same issue. But no big deal...
Anyway, Is a really good phone with an EXCELLENT camera, but if you want more capacity on the memory stick (so you don't have to upgrade it later) then you may want to consider the W800.

thanks for ur post..
i was just reading a thread that someone had posted about their K750i being a bit loose at the back & sqeaky... im glad to be finding this out now before i had actually purchased one otherwise i would have been very disappointed.. phones arent cheap these days therefore cant afford to keep upgrading so lo0king f0r a really go0d phone that will last me awhile..
it seem that maybe the w800i is the better out of the two? =/ there both fairly new here in Australia as the w800i has not yet been realised & the k750i only just came out with it been new to the stores i guess there is still alot of testing of the phones to see if there are any major problems with its functions/use/or software/joystick easy to use?no problems with it stuffing up..
but after reading the forum it seems that sony ecrisson might be the way to go for me..
also if by any chance anyone reading this has a w800i would it be possible for you to post a picture of how the menu is set out in the phone? for example all icons on the one screen etc.. it would be much appreciated..
sorry for all the questions guys just want to make sure my money gets well spent...

Go for the k750 mate, won't regret it!
Had mine for almost a week now, what can I say... I had a k700 before, which was also great, but this one... wow!
It has everything you'd want from a phone - great camera (never seen better phone-camera), high-quality mp3 player (great megabass feature from sony), expandable memory... what else... do I need to mention more, anyway...
About creaking noises... lol, some guys have something creaking in their heads, obviously! I had this prob in my k700 though, and this was one of the reasons for replacing it for its younger brother
Cheers! |

Hi ,
I am new here to and i love my K750i only the caller sound should be a little louder........ so if you stay much in noisy area's the W800 should be a better choice i think. (heard that the caller sound is better)

w800 has an enhanced media player and i think a bigger memory card
not a lot of difference otherwise
which leads me to this question i seen an ad in a mobile phone shop in edinburgh saying they can convert k750 to w800
is this possible ?

I think the squeaking issue has been slightly exaggerated, Bianca. It's a factor to consider, but the positives greatly outweigh the very few negatives of which i'm aware. Concerning the w800i, by all accounts it's a brilliant phone. I certainly think you'd do well to opt for either, seeing that you've graduated from a 6610. Expandable memory rocks! I use a 6600, and have had no complaints worth mentioning, although i've been lasciviously eyeing a P910i as a 2nd Symbian phone for some time Good luck, hope you get sorted soon.

@qween - As I've been reading some posts about the 2 fones being discussed here, I guess the W800i has the slight edge, unfortunately, I got the K750i. Good Luck !

depends on what you want to use the phone for w800 only difference is media player the camera is just the same
I just got my k7500 after long wait and i am really impressed it has a few features i didnt know about like speaker phone and voice recorder
having used samsung phones in the past my jaw dropped when i seen some of the photos i took even the poor ones were better than previous camera phones i had.
you cant lose whichever one you get but in my opinion the w800 is good but i aint fussed about the look of it ....

in my experience , i think the w800 is a little better , had no crashes with it so far , k750 about 10 times , and with the w800 you get a 512 ms and some real good headphones and the possibility to use other headphones
proud owner of a 800i , 200i , p910i + route 66 mobile 2006 and a hbh-600 , gave my k800i to my girl ( enjoying my new WII and DS lite ) |

when you get k750i it has just about everything you will ever need in a phone
so whats the big deal with everyone wanting to upgrade the firmware (is it absolutelly necessary)
