Lexar MS Duo problem |

I bought a Lexar 512 Mb MS Pro Duo memory for my K750. It was a "Game Editon" and didn't come with an adapter. It was cheap.
It works great in the phone, but when I put it in an adapter (Sony) and place it in my computers built in memory card reader it isn't recognized. I thought you could put any card in any adapter(?)
I figure there's nothing wrong with the card since it works in the phone, but I also figure there's nothing wrong with my memory card reader since it can read the original Sony card when placed in it's adapter...
Any ideas why the Lexar card doesn't show up in my computer when placed in the Sony adapter? I can see the card in my computer using DCU-60 USB cable though... The problem is only related to the adapter.

I dont know. i think its the adaptor. Try a Lexar or Sandisk. Or buy a Sandisk MSPD memory card reader, you dont need an adaptor!

...or could it be that the PSP Gaming Edition cards aren't "normal" memory cards even though they look like it? It says 512 Mb Memory Stick PRO Duo Magic Gate on it.
I see now that Sony and SANDisk has also released "Gaming Editions". The thing is that these cards says they are 40x high speed cards... could that be the problem? |
