I'm currently using an Ipaq 2210 which I've been trying to make it work with my recently bought Vodafone V802SE on GPRS.

I've tried every settings but it seems to fail me everytime I wanted to connect.

It just gave me the 'service not available' for dial up networking error instead.

I was previously using a SE T610 and so far, there's no problems with it yet.

To avoid any other softwares that might interrupt the connection between both devices, I did a hard reset for both devices.

I was wondering if anyone managed to pair this pair of gadgets up and gotten access to the GPRS network, please let me know.

Thanks.

yes i have had many paired up using bluetooth and gprs.... the problem is setting the command string up correctly and the dialup number...

Dialup should be: *99#
Command String should be (these should be entered in the connection settings under advanced): +cgdcont=1,"ip","internet"

this should then allow u to use ur phone and gprs to acess the net on ur pda...

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I guess it still won't work for me. but after some searching on the initialising strings, i've managed to find out that by replacing the "+cgdcont=1" with "&FE0S0=0", VOALA~ it works.

thanks for the tip. didn't know about the string modem commands earlier.
