When I use my HBH-600 headset with my T68i the combo works perfectly. By perfectly I mean that the phone to headset connection is only active after I have dialed a number or when a call is coming in. At all other times I can connect my PDA to the T68 via BT and I can mess around with menus and browse the web directly with the phone without having the heaset echo all the key presses and tones.

With the Razr V3 the phone seems to "lock on" to the headset. This means that if I am just going thru the phone menus are browsing a WAP site I get to hear all the beep, beep, beeps of the keys that I am pressing. Needless to say, this is very anoying. I also find that my PDA will not connect unless I manuall drop the phone-headset connection.

Why does this happen? I don't see any options with either phone to enable or disable this type of behavior. Maybe the HBH-600 pair works better just because it is a one vendor solution?

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
