strange sound ? |

Got a new k750 today cuz my old got stolen.
Never thought of this before, but when i take a photo and press the triggerbutton halfway down (autofocus) i can hear a little sound as the AF tunes in the settings before shot. Have you also got this? Dont think i heard that on my other k750 |

Yes thats right, but i can not remember that i had that sound on my other k750. |

it happens when you half click the cam and hold it down, then it beeps, the you fully press it to take the pic.
maybe you were just clicking it all the way down every time you take a pic???

Yes, thats what i meant. Just before the beep there are a kind of sound. You got a k750 or w800? |

it's the autofocus. mine does it. sounds mechanical right? as though something is moving inside! |

this is autofocus doing its bit to tell you that you can take the picture now is it not?

nono its not the beeping, its the mechanical sound, sound like a motor inside or something. |

Yes, mine has it too. It sounds like some kinda tapping/clicking sound. Its only after this sound that you hear the "beep beep" of the phone signaling that its time to press the button down fully. Don't worry about it. I think its normal.

Yes its a kind of rattle sound just before the beep, maybe its normal and cuz of the cam making some adjustments? |

Just got my K750 a week ago, it also makes this sound when pressing the button halfway. Don't worry about this, it is perfectly normal. In some proper digital cameras, if u are taking pics in very quiet surroundings u might just be able to make out this autofocus sound  |

It is the auto focus mechanism it helpspeople out in a way you can't take secret pictures due to the noise and also if your phone is on silent it's a way of helping you know that your camera is focused correctly for the pic.
This was posted in many forums previous and these were the answers they came up with!!! |

Yes, that is soo true. I always depend on that noise when my phone is on silent.

Sounds funny when taking a pic in silent mode. kind of rattle and nothing more. hope this mecanism will last  |

I guess your old K750 was amongst the forst ones to be produced.
 launched just launched a new version of the camera in the latest production line. There is quite a few improvements in it:
- Add CCD sensor (instead of CMOS)
- Better auto-focus function in dark conditions
- Better detalization of objects at the distances of 5 meters and lower comparing to CMOS
- Another algorithm of images processing - color saturation is better
- Better macro-mode shot processing
- Saving of shots made increased a little bit
- Power consumption is 5-10 percents higher
- Lens is changed as a result of new CCD sensor
