HI
I acknowledged that master reset will cause personal data in the phone to disappear. But how about the pictures in My Pictures??will the pictures that i had downloaded into my T68i disappear too?How about the defaults gif pictures and EMS pictures that comes with the software, will it restore back if i had deleted it prior to reset?
Thankyou

hey there i had the same problem.....i did master reset and i lost my pictures about half of them i even lost the sonyericsson screensaver ball.....also i lost all my MMS the ones in the default inbox.....

aparently after speaking with SE they told me its a default in the phone and should be replaced...... the master reset should not erase factory default settings.... unfortunately i lost a few and have to replace my T68i soon.

cheers.

The 5 example MMS messages and the the whole My Pictures are deleted (except from around 13 pictures) when doing a master reset... theese can only be put back by either doing a restore from a backup or sending them from another phone. A software update of the phone doesn't help, the complete set of pics and MMS are only downloaded to the phone during the first software update on the phone, on T68i when it's manufactured, or T68m when it's upgraded with MMS software for the first time. This is quite bad for companies making swap units since they can't restore the phones to the same level as it is when you buy them, so when you get a swap unit you don't have any example MMS and very few pictures.
Last I heard is that is looking for a solution to it, but so far nothing has happened.
