Hey Everyone!

I got my phone on e-bay a couple of weeks ago, installed the new battery charged it , on a fully charged battery it could only operate for about 3 hours. After it died I couldn't turn the phone off again, battery was coplately dead, wouldn't even show charging or anything. I got a brand new battery from SE, charged it overnight, and it doesn't hold the charge. from a full charge with the charger still connected to it it goes down to 71% in about 20 mins. using it with speaker phone. I was talking on the phone last night, having 10% charge in the phone with the charger hooked up, it didin't die but didn't charge anything while I was talking. when I'm not on the phone it charges, but battery discharges very quickly when I talk...I'd say it wouldn't hold a full charge even juston standby for more than 5 hours. Anyone had this probleme? I did a master reset thinking some application is always on and sucking down the battery. I tried to do a firmware update (which says the phone is up to date) but when I get to the update part and it tells me to power off, hold down c, plug usb in, the phone just turn on and nothing happens. Any help would be greatly appriciated, I love this phone, but I can't believe it couldn't make it through a full day without recharging. My first SE was a t68i , sometimes I didn't charge it for days and still talked on it. Thanks!!!

make sure you install the USB update drivers from the SE website. Otherwise you will not get any response when pressing 'c' etc when attempting the update. Frankly the K750i battery life is fantastic so I think you may have a faulty phone. Best is to get it checked out.

@eskay keep it to your self. Every company that developes hardware is bound to sell a defective product.

His user id is "johnnybarakat". The phone seems to have a short circuit in it, cause it discharges the charged battery even when it's turned off, o the point where the battery won't charge ever again. This problem with the phone wasn't his fault though, cause the phone is cleaqrly a brand new one. And he's taking care of it....sent me a return form to fill out, and as soon as it gets back he'll send me a new one.Altough I just went up to San Fransisco China town and seen the k750i in a store for $439...I wish I would've known it earlier....

I had a same problem with a k750i draining the battery when listening to mp3`s, about an hour and it was flat.

My replacment is fine though, been playing games, listened to about 4 albums, made some calls, its still on over half way, awesome!
