hello everybody!

I need some help, on the k700i, can you add more animations to your phone that you can include in your text messages? ie the wink one etc.. can you get new ones or use your own .gif files? what type of picutes can be used in the option pictures(other) because i never seem to have any!

How would i go about gettnig them on to my phone? where would i save them? also, is there a way of turning off the clock screensaver so that i can just have my own screensaver all the time?

many thanks!

you can use gif images.

You cannot set your screensaver to be on all the time. If you could, it would seriously suck the battery dry....think about it, it's like having the full colour display on all the time

ems is another thing, sorry. You need to find some ems download sites. EMS is black and white only, very low res. If you can find ems downloads, you can bluetooth to the phone once you have them on the computer.

@max - i think you have confused EMS with .wbmp format pics. wbmp pics are the black and white ones.

@chicken - EMS(Extended Messaging Service- ie. sms + those little colorful animated smily things) contains a predefined set of smileys, you cant add anymore to them.

Actually, EMS stands for Enhanced Messaging Service, and includes more than just the smiley faces. EMS includes wbmp and animated images, melodies and extended formatting. It was the precursor to MMS.

The formatting characters he is talking about are available in the add symbols menu, and you are correct he can't add to them.

However, if you download wbmp images and copy them into the pictures folder, you can add them to your sms (which then becomes an EMS message). Most, but not all, phones support ems.

the wbmp images must be smaller than 128 bytes
