Well, this doesnt work if you dont have the "Skreen Saver" app installed. From standby screen, press and hold '#' for 2 seconds. The screen saver that you have selected appears. When you press any key, it goes away and a dialog box appears asking whether you want to change the outgoing line. He you select yes, the 2nd line is used, which is marked by the digit 2 in the standby screen.
here are the screen shots:-
1)holding # brings up the screen saver
2)dialog comes when you press any key
3)trying to call from 2nd line

Niru, please specify the models on which this trick works. Doesn't work on the Ngage...

can't say anything about n-gage but this trick works with almost all nokias, from 3310 to 3230. should work with n-gage.

@whiz like i said, you need to have this skreen saver app running for it to work. If i deactivate it, the trick doesnt work for me either. And i tried it on my 6670. |

@whiz here's what you should do to change the line if you dont have that app. Hold # for about 4 secs instead of 2. |

Is the screensaver app an externally installed one? Where do i get it? My phone's app is active...
