recently got an R600 (from Australia).
hoped that since it is now SonyEricsson,
interface might be better.
it's NOT.
still horrible, can't find anything.
don't know where their interface designers got their training from...so UNintuitive.

e.g. to change light colour, u have to choose on/automatic before actually getting to change the colour. why can't they have an option to change colour?
i am still working on placing ur own pictures onto the background. saw a post in the forum... aparently you have to put it up on the "picture" section, not the settings where some of the orginal pictures are.
by the amount of "help me!" posts on here, i reckon they should fire the entire interface design department.

if any ericsson dev people are watching...
i'm sure people will rather *not* have the demon they know...
CHANGE IT!!! we'll all appreciate it.
thats all from me...and my rant...

Well, if it's anything like the T39 interface (They look similar), I could agree on that. I had trouble learning the interface on the T39 at first, but after a day, I got use to it and worked how I wanted. Personally, I was not really bothered with the menu interface, once I knew where everything was, it was a breeze after that.

The T68i was an improvement though, the menu is better.

Actually, once you get the hang of it, the interface is quite good. Stop comparing the interface with your other phone- SE does things differently.

I like the ericsson interface, its easy to use once you get the hang of it...nokia 's interface is easy to use as they don't have much features so you can find the menu easily..........Sony ericsson is for people who know what is technology !!!!!!

I don't agree, I think the Ericsson structure is way a head of Nokia's. The Nokia interface does'nt give you any overview, it's just one option at a time.

What will you say abaut Siemens interface. It is really very frendly. I have a T65. I can't change the name of melodies, I can't erase melodies (only My melodies), I can't erase pictures which is in phone by default. And I asking WHY ouners ot phones couldn't do whith them what they want?

with sonyericsson you can read a message received from any menu when scanning but with nokia you need to exit first. and also you can send a message while surfing, nokia dont!

well, if you do not like it then start your own mobile phone company instead. there you can do what you want to do yourself. it's like many people are complaining about microsoft windows and why it is like this and that but still lots of other people still buy the os and is the most sold and used os on this planet.

if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
