okay i have a t68i and bought a data cable for my PC which is connected to the com port. All I want to do is to use the data cable to put new backgrounds to the phone. I installed Image Editor from the official site and I also installed the CD that came with my phone - this however never fully completes as I dont have outlook installed (and it keeps prompting to run it first!) - as I dont need/use it. I am running windows 98SE. Even after all this - the image editor still says the phone is not connected, system properties shows the com ports as being fine, so I cant understand what is going wrong? Any help please! thanks |

The only other program you need to install is the mobile phone monitor(mpm). Make sure you got the latest version, check the software forum sticky post for the download links.
