Hi tempsonyfreak,
IMHO, if you always wait for a new phone to come... you will never buy a phone.
My K700i has not been a year yet since I bought it but now I pair K750i with K700i... both are great phones to use. I use K750i though.

U r lucky man, having both at ur fingertips. I had to sell my K700 to make way for the new boss.
One of the drawbacks of the K750 is that it has a long capture time and u cant use it for a "Quickie-Snap", ie something interesing passingby...by the time u focus on it and it takes the snap, the subject has usually disappeared.
Thats really a major drawback when for example you are travelling by a train or a car and see something interesting that u want to capture but by the time u r ready, it has gone. The K700 used to be more handy in this regard. Also, (maybe my personal opinion) the K700 used to look more handsome than the 750. What do u ppl think?
But its true that if u wait for something better, u may end up waiting forever...so my conclusion? Just go for it, it's absolutely worth every penny spent.

I think its a subjective matter. If you feel that ur happy with the battery life, screen, camera quality and i suppose, the limited memory of the k700i, then u shud be ok till maybe a better phone with more gimmicks comes along.... you might also choose to wait for the prices to come down a little... i have no idea whether they have with the release of the w800i.
As far as looks go, I think the k750i looks better than the 700i... i was gonna go for the k700i but then saw it and compared it with my bro's 750i and imho the 750i looks mucho better...
But now its upto you to decide if ur willing to spend the bucks on a new phone...
